A futures market prices something that resolves at the end of the MLB season rather than at the end of a game — a champion, a win total, an award, a player's season total. A price is posted months out and moves the whole way, which is what this board keeps a record of.
Season-long markets, grouped by what they resolve on: team futures and win totals, playoff and seeding markets, awards, stat leaders, and player milestones and season props. Each market opens to the full field with a price per outcome from every source carrying it.
It is the implied probability — the chance the market is putting on that outcome. Every price is converted to one, because it is the only figure that compares a sportsbook's American odds with a prediction market's cents-on-the-dollar contract. The chart on each row plots the same thing over time, and the one genuinely confusing part is worth saying outright: a rising line means the market thinks an outcome is MORE likely, which in American odds means the number shrinks.
Because each book sets its own number and moves it on its own schedule, so the same outcome can carry several different prices at once. We store every price tagged with the source that posted it rather than averaging them into one, which is why a row can show the same outcome at a different price in each column, and why the best available price is worth showing beside the book posting it.
Each one is the last price we collected, not a live quote. Cadence varies by source — some update hourly, others arrive as periodic snapshots — and the board shows how old its prices are. A number here is also not an offer: TrackFutures tracks futures and cannot take a bet at any price shown, so check your own book before acting on one.
